Aluminum substrate: Most fluorescent lamps on the market are made of aluminum substrate. The structures from top to bottom are: circuit board layer, thermal insulation layer, and aluminum substrate.

　　Circuit board layer: Copper foil with strong current carrying capacity is mainly used as the circuit. Copper is relatively expensive, so the thickness of copper foil directly affects the price of aluminum substrate. Some aluminum substrates in the market make the copper foil thinner, which makes the price cheaper, but the current carrying capacity of the product will be reduced.

　　Thermal insulation layer: The best thermal insulation effect is achieved by a special ceramic polymer, but the price is very high. Aluminum substrates made from this material are priced at over 1000 yuan/square meter, which is difficult to accept in China. In order to reduce costs and improve competitiveness in the market, other materials such as epoxy resin and glass cloth are used instead.

　　Aluminum substrate: Aluminum plates are generally used as metal support components, and copper plates are also used for better thermal conductivity, but the price is high. The basic requirements for aluminum substrate are good thermal conductivity and resistance to bending.

　　Fiberglass board: In order to pursue price advantage, some manufacturers use fiberglass board to make PCB circuits. There are also several types of fiberglass boards with different prices. To be more specific, there are the following: fiberglass board, single-sided copper foil fiberglass board, double-sided copper foil stripped fiber board, and perforated glass copper foil fiberglass board.

　　Single sided copper foil fiberglass board: The copper foil of this board is usually distributed on the side with circuits to increase the heat dissipation area. The price of this board is slightly higher than that of fiberglass board.

　　Double sided copper foil stripped fiberboard: hence the name Siyi, this type of board is coated with copper foil on both sides for heat dissipation, with slightly higher performance and price than single-sided copper foil board.

　　Perforated copper foil fiberglass board: This type of board has a unique structure, consisting of copper foil on both the front and back sides. The board also has many small holes that connect the copper foil on both sides directly. This allows the copper foil on the front circuit board to be conducted to the copper foil on the back side through the small holes on the PCB board, and then to the heat dissipating aluminum profile.
