    2003/11/

    EC

    Directive 2003/11/EC (24th amendment to 76/769/EC) - Hazardous Chemicals Restriction on marketing and use of dangerous substances using pentabromodiphenyl ether (PentaBDE), octabromo-diphenyl ether (octaBDE), or any diphenylether pentabromo or octabromo derivative (CHBrO), which are usually used for flame-retardants in plastics beginning August 15, 2004.

    2003/53/

    EC

    Directive 2003/53/EC (26th amendment to 76/769/EC) Hazardous Chemicals Restriction on marketing and use of dangerous substances – nonylphenol, nonylphenol ethoxylate, and cement containing chromium VI beginning January 17, 2005.

    2002/95/

    EC

    Directive 2002/95/EC - RoHS requires producers of electrical and electronic equipment to eliminate the use of six environmentally-sensitive substances: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium; and the use of PBB and PBDE flame retardants, in electrical and electronic products beginning July 1, 2006.

    2011/65/

    EC

    Directive 2011/65/EU -DIRECTIVE 2011/65/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 8 June 2011 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

    CONFLICT-FREE MINERALS STATEMENT

    Conflict Metal means metals of gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), cobalt(Co), tin (Sn) and so on are derived from or sourced from mines in conflict areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), or illegally taxed on trade routes, either of which are controlled by non-governmental military groups, or unlawful military factions. KnownPCB banned to use conflict metals and expects our suppliers to comply with the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) Code of Conduct and to only source materials from environmentally and socially responsible suppliers and require all vendors purchase and use conflict-free metals, and priority source from smelters listed in EICC-GeSI Conflict-Free Smelter(CFS).


    Therefore We KnownPCB will commit to the sourcing of “Conflict Free Minerals” through our suppliers to comply with the regulations with Conflict minerals.
