Component sourcing refers to the process of purchasing all the electronic components required for the assembly and insertion processes on the circuit board.

For PCBA projects, component sourcing is closely connected with BOM confirmation, supplier selection, delivery control, incoming material inspection, and storage management.

Discuss and finalize the BOM, Gerber files, quantities, and special component sourcing requirements with the customer.

02. Verify Supply Conditions

Check component price, delivery date, stock status, minimum order quantity, and available supplier options.

03. Confirm Samples & First Order

Confirm samples, approved alternatives, and the first order before the formal procurement process begins.

04. Purchase, Inspect & Store

Place supplier orders, track delivery schedules, arrange incoming material inspection, and manage warehousing before PCB assembly.
